Welcome to the Arapaho Roosevelt National Forest and the Pawnee National Grasslands. I’m Glenn Casamassa, the Forest Supervisor for these national forest system lands, collectively known as the ARP. As one of the most visited national forests and grasslands in the nation, you can still experience the quiet of the prairie, the adventure of climbing mountain peaks, or kayaking the Cache La Poudre River all within a day’s drive from Fort Collins, Colorado. We owe thanks to the early visionaries who realized the benefit of land conservation and stewardship and worked to designate these lands for the American people. It is my hope you experience adventure, solitude and wonderful memories of your time on this forest and grassland. You can leave comments on your experience by returning to site information on your mobile app, or by pressing *#0 at the prompt. Thanks, and I hope you enjoy your national forest.
