305. Crow Valley Recreation Area

This oasis on the prairie has cottonwoods, providing shade in the open landscape of the Pawnee National Grassland.  The Crow Valley Campground is an easy, accessible spot for those looking for a place to stay while exploring the Pawnee National Grassland. Along with regular campsite amenities, this site also has the Steward J. Adams Educational Site where groups can get together to star gaze or view wildlife.  The Lee and Dorothy Rhodes Farm Implement Museum is also located here, introducing visitors to what farming was like on these plains. The collection of equipment here was donated by descendants of homesteaders and shows a glimpse of what life was like in pioneer days.
