302. Baker Draw Designated Shooting Area

Recreational sports shooting is growing in popularity, especially on National Forest System lands like the Pawnee National Grassland. Visitors may spot shooters throughout the Pawnee, but especially at the Baker Draw Designated Shooting Area. Opened in 2014, Baker Draw was developed as a safe location with dirt berms for those looking to shoot on the grassland. There are 30 shooting lanes with 26 benches and the area is open from sun up until sun down. This site was developed with partnerships from Colorado Parks and Wildlife, National Rifle Association and Weld County. Be sure to check all the rules and regulations listed on the kiosk before using Baker Draw!
