Please read the Colorado Parks and Wildlife information about traveling in moose country. Moose are often in the Pine Beach, sometimes hiding unseen in the willows. Moose are beautiful and impressive creatures; but will be aggressive toward humans, especially if a dog is off a leash. If confronted by a moose, leave immediately. A use fee is required for this area (see link below for more information). The fee machine is located by the information board. Display the pass in your windshield.
