Walk a 1/2 mile along a quiet path to Pine Beach.
A restroom is available at the trailhead.
A great place for picnicking and wildlife watching, Pine Beach is part of the Arapaho National Recreation Area (ANRA). From Hwy 34, drive to just north of mile marker 12 to the Pine Beach Picnic Area. Follow the dirt road to the right for the Point, Peninsula and the restrooms. To the left is the mouth of the Colorado River. Picnic tables are available at both locations.
