South Tour of Arapaho National Forest

This portion of the Arapaho National Forest is located west of Denver located along the I-70 Corridor and includes 220,000 acres of  National Forest System lands near the communities of Idaho Springs, Evergreen, Central City and Georgetown. This area is home to the Mount Evans Scenic Byway Recreation Area, the Mount Evans Wilderness, the Peak-to-Peak Byway, Loveland Ski Area and Guanella Pass Scenic Byway. Come climb a mountain 14,000 feet above the ocean's tides, take a relaxing drive through the Rocky Mountains, or wet your fishing line in one of the many alpine lakes and streams. Your public lands await you.

Mobile Interpretive Tour

You have accessed the mobile interpretive tour for the Arapaho Roosevelt National Forest and Pawnee Grasslands.  The home button will return you to the main page to access various tours and information for the entire forest. You can also use the map feature to search other tour messages in the area. Tour stop signs at individual stops are highlighted red to indicate if cell or wireless service is available. For stops without current service, information will be linked at highlighted stops and can be viewed ahead of time.
