Echo Lake is located near the base of Mount Evans along Hwy 103. The campground sits in a spruce forest near the shores of Echo Lake at 10,600 feet. Nights at this elevation can be chilly, even in summer, and its location on a mountain pass makes for windy conditions year-round. Limited campsites are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
